I've been spending the Thanksgiving weekend with family in Cape Breton. And as I sit here in the 28C heat, with the sunshine and soft breezes streaming through the window, I can't remember a Thanksgiving weekend that felt less autumnal.
But there may be a way to fix that. When I stopped at the liquor store for a bottle of wine for Thanksgiving dinner, my attention was drawn to a lovely label. Maybe this will bring a slight chill to Thanksgiving. In more ways than one.
