This photograph was taken in October of 2008, the last year we drove to Kentville for October's Pumpkin People Festival. Several years of elaborate displays, "Star Wars" and "Lord of the Rings" among them, had given way to more mundane tableaus and I lost interest. This year's event, however, promises an 80's theme, which may be hard to resist. The time may have come for a return visit.
