Spirit Halloween has arrived in town for the season once again. It's only been in Halifax for the past three or four years and before its arrival, I used to read references to it on the blogs of others and long to visit in person.
But as happens so often, the reality pales in comparison with the image.
I find they place far too much emphasis on blood and gore. Which doesn't mesh with my view of Halloween. But that never stops me from visiting as soon as it opens its doors.
