Early last month, I made the first of my autumn visits to Bulk Barn to kick off Halloween candy eating season. The bins were full. The selection was familiar and predictable. Almost reassuring. Candy corn. Chocolate jack-o-lanterns. Miniature chocolate bars. Vampire teeth gummies.
And then I noticed something I hadn't seen before. White and yellow and orange, it looked like candy corn. But different. Candy corn in toffee form. Candy corn saltwater taffy.
And now, two bags later, I have a new Halloween addiction.
