I think it's a conspiracy.
Every year, as I begin to Halloween-ify my front yard, the wind intensifies. Immediately. As if on cue. And this year is no exception. Creepy sunflowers were planted yesterday; and today, I sit and listen to the wind blow and I watch the trees sway and the leaves fall and I fervently hope that the sunflowers don't sway too dramatically. I think I've learned a thing or two over the years about securing props. Tomorrow morning will tell me if I was wrong.
In the meantime, it's an indoor day. Spent hanging net curtains, dunking cheesecloth in glue and drinking pumpkin ale.
