At this time of year, I like to wander around my neighbourhood and see what others are doing for Halloween. And this year . . . they're not doing much. In fact, I'm noticing significantly fewer outdoor Halloween decorations than in recent years. Unless they're all waiting until the last minute for the big reveal.
But I doubt it. Maybe they're following the lead of retailers and preparing ever earlier for Christmas.
One happy exception was this ghostly display in front of a house at the end of my street.
